Paul E. Roy, 91, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Paul served in the US Army from 1943-1945. He was a veteran of WWII during the invasion of France on D-Day. Later he worked as the Controller with Falstaff for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and an avid Cubs and Purdue Basketball fan. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Surviving are his children: Eileen M. Lock, James J. (Cheryl) Roy, Marilyn C. Losher, Mary Ann (Jeffrey) Boger, all of Fort Wayne, and Karen M. (Bryan) Piekarski of Huntertown; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo E. Roy and sister, Mary C. Huber of Fort Wayne. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Roy; parents, James B. and Lela Roy; daughter, Janet Roy; and sister, Betty R. Reber. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling 1 hour prior. Fr. Jacob Meyer officiating. Calling also at D.O. McComb and Son's Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30pm.
