She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Howard Hall. She was a Homemaker. Gladys was also preceded in death by her husband James L. Abrams.
Gladys was born in Floyd Kentucky. She was the first child of Edward and Ruth Hall. When she was a small child of two years of age they moved across state lines to Ohio. In 1920 they were living at Scioto County, Ohio. By 1930 she had four siblings. They were Lloyd born 1921, twin brothers, Edgar, and Everette, born 1924. The last child born was Alma born 1926. She married James Abrams about 1938. Their first child was Ardith, a daughter, born about 1939. In 1940 they lived at Dry Run Road, Washington Township, Scioto County, Ohio a few doors down from her father, Edward. Their rent was $5 a month.
