AUBURN — Thomas Albert Fischer, 72, of Auburn died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Fischer graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1960 and did automobile paint and body work. Later he owned and operated Auburn Marine and Tackle on South Main Street in Auburn.

He was born in Indianapolis on October 13, 1942, to Carl and Kathryn (Meek) Fisher.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (VanHorne) Fischer, and his three children, sons, Thomas C. Fischer and his son, Michael; Timothy and Kimberly (DuBois) Fischer and their sons, Grant and Luke; and a daughter, Laura (Fischer) and Greg Freeze and their son, Greg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael Ray Fisher; and an infant son, James Michael Fischer.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. The Rev. Duane Grady will be officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation will also be from 4–8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are to the Cardio Pulmonary Therapy Department of DeKalb Health Hospital or the RSVP Community Center of Caring Food Pantry in Auburn.
