Charles W. Roth, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 2, 2015. Born on August 16, 1926, in Huntington, he was a son of the late John and Anna Roth. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, he proudly served his country in the Army, during the Korean War and retired from Dana Corp after 36 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carol J. Roth; son, Bruce A. (Lexxy) Roth; daughter, Judy A. (Charles) Rabbitt; granddaughters, Tiffany (Josh) Cousino and Kanayah Rabbitt; two great-grandchildren, Tyson and Cedric; sisters, Edna Eickhoff and Ruth Graft. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Walter, Clarence and John Roth; and sisters, Ethel Nycum, Miriam Black, Eloise Zion and Dorothy Fogwell.
Funeral service will be 10:30am Friday March 6, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 4 to 7 pm, Thursday March 5, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
