AVON - Jean M. (nee Brissette) Smock, age 81, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015.
Jean was a resident of Avenbury Lakes, in Avon, proud native of Oxford, Mass., and former resident of Cleveland, Fairview Park and North Ridgeville.
She was a U.S Navy veteran and founding member of the St. Angela Merici Couples Club.
She was the beloved wife of the late David for 56 years; loving mother of Christine (David Davis), Thomas (Stephanie), Michael, Patrick and Matthew (Carey); grandmother of Cameron, Tylor and Jacob; daughter of the late Felix and Eleanor Brissette.
Funeral service in the Corrigan Craciun funeral home, 20820 Lorain Rd. Friday, March 6, at 11 am. Internment of Jean and her husband David will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman OH at 2 p.m. that same Friday.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
