May 12, 2004 Miles R. Buck, 83, of Camillus, died Wednesday at home. Life-resident of the Syracuse area. He was a custodian for the Syracuse School District. He was a communicant of Howlett Hill Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Morningstar Lodge Chapter #524 F&A.M. and Chapter #289 Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a graduate of East Carolina University. He was a middle school teacher in LaFayette, N. Carolina and also a Army veteran of WWII. Predeceased by his wife Rita in 1987. Survivors: Companion, Marie Chorley; daughter, Martha Dinneen of Camillus; son, Miles E. Buck of Solvay; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
