Ruth R. Hensley, 91, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at her home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ruth enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Chere (John) Heck of Fort Wayne, son, Harmon (Jennifer) Hensley of Scottsdale, AZ, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and sister, Margie Smith of Fort Wayne. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Evers, husband, Harmon Hensley, son, Brian Hensley, sister, Laverne Tompkins, and brother, Henry "Bud" Evers. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior, Rev. David Mitchell officiating.
