Regina Mae Kupke, 102, of Rensselaer, died early Friday morning, June 4 at the Rensselaer Care Center.
She was born May 3, 1897 in Ford Co., Ill.
She married John L. Kupke on Jan. 1, 1914 in Rensselaer. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1979.
She was a homemaker.
She had been a resident of Renselaer since 1905 and attended the Jasper County Public Schools.
She was a member of the Barkley Township Methodist Church, the Trinity Methodist Church of Rensselaer, and the Barkley Ladies Aid.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Melvin (Elsie) Kupke of Naperville, Ill., two daughters, Mary M. Gurwein of Monon and Alta m. Stewart of Rensselaer, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildrn, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel on Tuesday, June 8 at 10:30 with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating.
Burial will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rensselaer.
