Merissa "Missy" Clark was born to Edward and Anne Clark on January 7, 1973 in Michigan. She was the oldest of two girls.

In 1997, Missy and her young daughter, Chrissy, were burned in an intentional fire. Missy was given a 10% chance of survival with burns on over 75% of her body. Miraculously, she survived, but her life was forever changed.

Over the next 16 years, she underwent multiple surgeries, amputations, skin grafts, infections, therapies, and ultimately, cancer.

Anyone who knew Missy would say she was the strongest woman that they had met.
She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially watching her daughter grow up. She was known for being stubborn, which no doubt gave her strength to overcome her obstacles.

Unfortunately, the cancer became too much for her body and Heaven gained a beautiful angel the day after her 40th birthday.

Always in our hearts, forever in spirit.
Love you Missy, and see you later.
