Mr. Charles Polk, age 60, of 340 Okaloosa Rd., passed away Wednesday in the Fort Walton Beach Hospital.
Mr. Polk, a native of Alabama, had resided in Fort Walton Beach for the past ten years. He was a contractor.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m.from the First Baptist Church in Fort Walton. Reverend James Monroe will conduct the services. Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery.
McLaughlin Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Laura Polk; three sons, John Mark Polk, both of Fort Walton Beach; Charles Clark Polk, Prattville, Ala.; and Graham Polk, Dothan, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. Virgil Skaggs, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. J.G. Hendrick, Greenville, Ala.; and Mrs. Alan Cowart, Shalimar, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
