Rowena Davis Adcock age 86 of Sparta passed away Friday evening February 20, 2015 at Highlands Medical Center.
Ms. Adcock was born May 23, 1928 in Dekalb County to the late Erby & Elizabeth Felts Adcock. She was a retired secretary from the Tennessee Department of Transportation after 30 years as a secretary for a doctor.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother Alton Adcock.

Survivors include her sister Ina Jo Prater of Eastpointe, Michigan

Nephew Dwight Adcock of Sparta

Nieces: Carol (Al) Luc of Chicago, IL and Sue (Steve) House of Clay, Michigan
Nephews: Troy Prater of Eastpointe, Michigan and Bret (Jolyn) Prater of Kansas City, MO

Special friends: Rita Dodson and Noretta Prime

Funeral services will be Monday, February 23, 2015 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Taylors Providence Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Benningfield will officiate.

Dwight Adcock, Matt Stebing, Austin Stebing, Bret Prater, James Douglas, Mike Hawkins and Tim Bumbalough will serve as pallbearers.
