Services for Dovie Alice Pelton Love, 717 B NE, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harvey Chapel with the Rev. Clifford Pelton, Mission Home Baptist Church, Wewoka, officiating. Burial will be in Legate Cemetery.
Mrs. Love died Jan. 27 in a local hospital following a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1919 in Caddo and had been a resident of this area most of her life. She married Edward E. Love on Dec. 23, 1933 at Ardmore.
Survivors include her husband, Edward, of the home; 4 sons, Charles, Healdton; Sain, Sulphur; and Jerry and Danny, both of the home; 6 daughters, Mrs. Frand (Wanda)Jimenez; Whitney, Tex.; Mrs Sid (Evelyn) Hickman, Mrs. Joyce France, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Akins, Mrs Steve (Patricia) Burnett and Mrs. Larry Don (Linda) Hughes, all of Ardmore; 2 borhters, Dolphard Pelton, Ardmore, and the Rev. Clifford Pelton, Wewoka; 2 sisters, Mrs. George (Irene) Klein, Ardmore, and Mrs. Elmo (Lois) Nowell, Ft. Worth, Tex.; 28 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Serving as bearers will be Carroll Pelton, Charles Pelton, Hubert Pelton, Raymond Pelton, James Anthony and Leroy Blanton.
Services are under direction of Harvey Funeral Home.
