115 Squadron's Vickers Wellington Ic (#R1517) bomber aircraft, with an aircrew of seven, took off from RAF Marham on a day-time air test flight. R1517 crashed at Sporle, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, taking the lives of five members of the crew and injuring the two others, one of whom died of the serious injuries he's sustained in the crash.
