Olga Sturm Baum was a long -time resident of Crooked Lake in Conway, Michigan, and Round Lake, in Petoskey. Her family owned the Conway Inn (This Olde House and The Inland House) for nearly 60 years, beginning with David Hastings who bought the hotel from Blackmere. She and her brother Victor spent their summers there as children, and later as adults. Olga/s husband was a well known radio personality and could imitate almost any voice. She loved gardening, birdwatching, classical music and her golden retrievers.
