Doris S. Addeo, 81 of Oceanport, died peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at home. Born in High Point, NC, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to Oceanport, 50 years ago. Doris was a procurement specialist for Fort Monmouth in Eatontown for 25 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch and had served honorably in the US Air Force during the Korean War.


Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Salvatore W. Addeo; a son, Anthony W. Addeo; a daughter, Tamera A. Addeo and Molly Addeo, Tamera’s daughter; 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, James and Lee Cargal; Guilford and Sue Cargal; Raymond Cargal and his companion, Jean Whitaker and a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Don Nackley.


A committal service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, at 11 am at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. Damiano Funeral Home, of Long Branch, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Harbor School, 240 Broad Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724
