I.D. Womack died in the Medical Clinic at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, following a lingering illness. He was 70.
Ernest Laws and John H. High officiated at the services held Sunday at 3 p.m. at High's Chapel, burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
Born in Warren County May 16, 1894, he was the son of Dock Womack and Dora Womack, and was married to the former Esta Smith, who died 24 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by three brothers, Abner Womack of Las Vegas, Nev., Herman Womack of Detroit, and Alvin Womack of McMinnville, two sisters, Mrs. I.F. McPeak of McMinnville, and Mrs. Clyde Phillips of Chattanooga, andby a host of nieces and nephews.
