Obituary:

A Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia Perez Ochoa, 79, will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet. Burial will follow in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. She died of complications of diabetes Friday at Brookside Health Care in Redlands.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet with a rosary said at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Ochoa, who was born in Mexico, lived in Hemet for 41 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in San Jacinto and Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Hemet. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and music.

She is survived by six sons, Inez of San Jacinto, Ismael and Roy, both of Hemet, Aniceto Jr. and Sergio, both of Riverside and Julio of Edinburg, Texas; five daughters, Vicenta Olivo, Betty Montemayor, Aurora Cortez and Connie Guzman, all of San Jacinto, and Cathy Ayala of Laredo, Texas; 51 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
