83, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2006, at a local nursing home. Funeral: was held Tuesday, April 18, 2006. Memorials: may be made to Meadowbrook United Methodist Church in her honor. Mrs. Fincher was born, Dec. 3, 1922, to Henry Hood Cook and Texas Pearl Farmer Cook near Frisco. She married Herman N. Fincher of Argyle, April 12, 1952. Mr. Fincher died in March of 2002. They were members of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, where Mrs. Fincher taught children's Sunday School classes for many years. Survivors: Adopted twin daughters, Tona Fincher of Fort Worth and Jana Gordon of Arlington; four grandchildren, Cody Fincher and Amy, Amanda and Travis Gordon; sister, Mary Elizabeth Westbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
