Warna Graduated from Plain Dealing High School and Meadows Draughn Business College in Shreveport, LA. She worked for Jackson B. Davis, Attorney, and retired to become a full time homemaker. She served as Worthy Matron in the Eastern Star, taught Sunday School for over 30 years, was a member of Christian Womens Club, and a leader in Bible Study Fellowship for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Warner Kent and Jessie Beatrice Coyle Cook, husband "Bill" Tuesburg and brothers Jack Bynum Cook and William Patrick Cook.
