Loving father of Diane, Carole, Shirley, Michelle Gilman, Howie (Joni) and Steve (Carrie). Grandpa to Jake, Alicia, Amanda and Riley, and great-grandpa to Jiean, whom he lovingly called his "little guy". Dear brother of Earl (Joyce) and Larry. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mae (nee Fitch).
Howard retired after 25 years as a machinist at Galland-Henning Nopak, Inc., and enjoyed 21 years of retirement. He was a member of the Wilson Senior Center.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors at St. Luke's Hospital and the Ruth Hospice for their great kindness and compassion.
