Daughter of Andrew & Sarah (Love) Orr, was born at 11pm.
Wife of Samuel Ferguson, they had nine children William Cameron (b. 27Jul1867), Sarah Elizabeth (b. 14Oct1868), Andrew Orr (b. 13Feb1871), Rebecca Ann (b. 6Jan1874), Maud Grace (b. 27Apr1876), Samuel Cargill (b. 13Feb1880), James Coulter (b. 14Aug1882), Robert Renrick (b. abt 1887) and Mabel Blanche (b. abt 1889).

Source:Grandmother Louise Orr's Clippings. Obit - Mrs. Samuel Ferguson's body was brought to Hopkinton, Friday morning last for interment in the Hopkinton Cemetery. Funeral services had been held at her home in Cedar Rapids on Thursday, conducted by Rev. S. T. Foster, D.D., pastor of the Cedar Rapids Westminister Church, assisted by Rev. A. R. Paul of the First U. P. Church.

Annis Love Ferguson passed away Monday night, May 11, after an illness of only two days. She was born in Zanesville, OH, February 23, 1844 and came to IA with her parents while a young girl. The family settled in Delaware county.

On October 2, 1865, she was married to Samuel Ferguson, who died in Jan. 1903. About fifteen years ago Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson and family moved first to KS, and then to Cedar Rapids, IA, but soon returned to the home located west of Hopkinton. In Dec. 1909, Mrs. Ferguson, two daughters and a son moved again to Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Ferguson had always led an active life, working in the interests of her home and the Church. She was a devoted Mother, a loyal Christian, and memory of her life will be a constant inspiration to the children who survive her. Two sons, a daughter and her husband were called to death before the Mother. Those who survive are Mrs. Proctor Perley, Misses Rebecca and Maud, and James C. of Wyoming, all of whom were in attendance at the funeral.
