WALTER L. KELLEY
Shelbyville - Walter L. Kelley, 72, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday at W.S. Major Hospital in Shelbyville following a lengthy illness.
Kelley retired in 1981 from the U.S. Postal Service at the Indianapolis main post office. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. James Coulston at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Carmony-Ewing Harrisoon Street Funeral Home in Shelbyville, where calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Born Sept. 16, 1916, near Hope, Kelley was the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Kemp) Kelley. He married Helen R. Inman on March 14, 1948. She survives. He had been a Shelbyville resident since 1971 and had lived in the Waldron area.
Also surviving is a brother, Floyd Kelley of Garland, Texas.
He was proceeded in death by a brother Ralph Harold Kelley.
