He was a retired 45 year employee of Belknap, where he was a data processing manager; a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, Incarnation Seniors, and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Leona Read, LaVern Litsey, and Ernie Krause.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Stuecker) Krause; his son, Mark A. Krause; grandchildren, Christopher and Michael Flamini and Valerie Caldwell; and four great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Saturday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway
