This man was was incredible, I worked with him for twenty years and he gave me a commendation, I will miss him.∼A beloved husband, father and friend of many, John A. Avenenti passed away on December 24, 2014 at Florence Anthem Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Florence, Arizona and is survived by his wife Sedatha, daughter Sherri Haahr, son John Avenenti, grandchildren Cammie and Tyler Burke, and great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Jace Valtierra.
John was a well-loved and respected man who served in the Air Force for four years and worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections for 33 years.
Mass was held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Florence, AZ. A memorial luncheon was held immediately following the service at the American Legion Post 9 in Florence.
