JR was born November 11, 1963 in Chicago Heights, IL to Marie Sweeney Ramsey. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ramsey, along with his grandmother, Mildred Sweeney.
JR enjoyed motorcycles and hunting.
He was such a great guy! So loving & caring & will truly be missed by many.
John leaves his wife, Tracie Fowler Ramsey; two daughters, Jessica (Forrest) James of Madisonville & Crystal Ramsey of Providence, KY; one son, Jonathan Ramsey of Madisonville; two sisters, Julie Ellis, & Paula Nusbaum both of Valparaiso, IN; four brothers; William 'Bill' Ramsey of South Bend, IN, David, James 'Jim', & Paul Ramsey all of Portage, IN; & two grandchildren, Payton & Bentley James of Madisonville; & several nieces & nephews.
Funeral service were Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney James officiating who is his daughter's father-in-law. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery in Madisonville, KY.
Pallbearers will be his four brothers, his son, and Mark Fowler.
