Obituary for Miss Audrey Anne Bush

Audrey Anne Bush, 17, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Carolinas Hospital System after a sudden illness.

Audrey was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of George James Bush and Mary Smith McMillan. She was a senior at South Florence High School where she was a proud member of the Marching Band. She loved working at the YMCA and planned on enrolling at Coastal Carolina University in the fall.

Surviving are her mother, Mary “Molly” Smith (Wade) McMillan of Florence; father, George James Bush and his special friend, Debbie Crider, of Florence; brother, Joshua (Amber) Bush of Florence; sisters, Wendy Bush McKenzie of Columbia and Melissa “Missie” Bush (Frank) Edwards of Darlington; maternal grandmother, Audrey Smith of Red Springs, NC; nieces and nephews, Riley Perry, Bentley Bush, Capelynn Bush, Meredith McKenzie and Brittany Welch; uncle, Steve (Karen) Smith; cousins, Hannah and Caleb Smith and special friend, Charles Wilson.

Memorials may be made to the South Florence High School Band Boosters, 3200 South Irby Street, Florence, SC 29505.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6–8 PM today at the funeral home.
