91, of Louisville, passed away January 3, 2015 at her home.

She was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Kings Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Benningfield and two sons David and Jimmy Benningfield.

She is survived by two sons, John and Walter (Sue) Benningfield; four daughters, Joan Benningfield, Judy Phillips, Donna Ashley, and Phyllis Basham; 4 sisters, Mary Ellen Smith, Ruth Brockman, Helen Drury, and Betty Vincent; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.

She was a native of Marion County, KY, a retired employee of General Electric, and a member of Kings Baptist Church.
