Ruth Genelle Branson, 97, of Marietta died Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta Chapel with Dr. Bill Ross officiating. Interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.
Mrs. Branson was a member of First Baptist Church of Marietta and taught second grade Sunday School class. She was involved in many parts of the Church. Ruth was also a wonderful seamstress.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol E. Branson of Marietta; cousin, Shirley Demerest of Marietta; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Martin Branson.
