Floyd C. Maddox age 88 of Speedwell, was a former employee of Cumberland Grocery Company, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of Free Liberty Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by wife, Juanita Laws Maddox; an infant son; parents, George Washington Maddox and Margaret Owens Maddox; brothers, Lawrence, Ralph, Lester, and Hayes Maddox; sister, Estelle Pierce. His survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Coker and Tonya Maddox; three grandsons, ten great-grandchildren and a brother, Verlin Maddox.
