Born Aug. 7, 1964, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of Sylvia "Sam" (Boozel) Beaver of Mount Union and the late Winston Beaver Sr. She was united in marriage to Robert Brant April 24, 1984, in Mount Union. Her husband survives.
Mrs. Brant is survived by two children, Howard Brant of Mount Union and Betsy McCartney and husband, Brandon, of McConnellstown; and a granddaughter, Alexis McCartney.
She is also survived by her siblings, Penny Coy and husband, Leonard of Greenbriar, McVeytown, and Nancy Beaver, Peggy Basore and Winston Beaver Jr., all of Mount Union.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Mrs. Brant had attended the Grace Community Church, Mount Union.
She attended Mount Union Area High School.
Mrs. Brant was a homemaker.
She enjoyed watching movies. Mrs. Brant loved being with her friends and going for walks.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with the Rev. Danny Neff officiating. Interment will be made in the Newton Hamilton Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
