Pilot Officer / Air Gunner.


Lost in Avro Lancaster I (NG332 IL-D) on a bombing mission from RAF Witchford, Cambridgeshire, to Vohwinkel, Germany, on 1/2 January 1945.
On return flight, believed downed by flak, believed to be from the American 184th Gun Battalion in Belgium, and crashed in field at Emines (Namur). All eight members of the crew were killed and are buried in Leopoldsburg War Cemetery.
