Larry attended Niagara Falls High School. He joined the United States Navy upon graduation and served from 1961 until 1963 during the Cuban Crisis. Larry attended Erie County Technical Institute and was employed as an Electrical Technician with the New York State Power Authority for 27 years until retirement in 2002.
Larry was happily married to his loving wife Sharon for 33 years until per passing from cancer in 2002. He was very devoted to his wife and children.
Larry enjoyed travelling with his daughters on cruises; and fishing with his long time best friend, Rich. He was also a longtime member of the LaSalle Sportsmans Club and a very good marksman. Larry loved the Broadway Musicals. Larry and his wife, Sharon attended numerous theatrical productions. He was always humming or singing a show tune.
Larry volunteered with the St. Johns Food Pantry, Niagara Hospice and the Salvation Army.
Larry loved Chinese and Greek food, going to lunch with his friends, helping his neighbors especially during the winter snow blowing. He was very proud of his vegetable garden. Larry always grew extra to give away to family, friends and neighbors. He always was ready to help anyone without be asked and always put his needs last.
He is sadly missed by his children; Denise, Christine, Michael, Paul and grandson Alex.
Larry had a Military Honors Funeral.
