Luther Duncan, 86, of Iberia died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1991 at Miller County Nursing Home in Tuscumbia following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 27, 1905 in Miller County to John and Ruth Workman Duncan. On June 8, 1925 he was married near Iberia to Venice Cochran, who survives at the home.
Mr. Duncan was a farmer and construction worker and also had worked at J.B. Deer Cedarcraft Factory at Lake Ozark for a number of years. He was a lifelong resident of Miller County and was a member of the Mt. Union church of Christ near Brumley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Betty Gillam, Rosalee Long and Sue Nelson, all of Iberia; a sister, Opal Luttrell of Brumley; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Gene Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
