Beverly J. Biermeier, age 68 years, of Elroy, died on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Beloit Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 19, 1937 in Elroy to Harvey and Harriet (McNamer) Biermeier. Beverly was united in marriage to Arthur F. Van Hecker. She has lived in Janesville for over 40 years where she worked in accounting at the Blackhawk Technical School. She enjoyed crafting, scrap booking, crosswords, knitting, crocheting, stamping, reading, and fishing up north.
Survivors include four children, Lori (David) Green of Elroy, Greg Van Hecker of Manorville, NY, Patti Jo (Conrad) Szambelan of Milton, WI, and Joel Van Hecker of Royal Oaks, MI, 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, her Father, Harvey Biermeier of Union Center, Brother, Rodney "Bucky" Biermeier of Elroy, Sister, Mary (Richard) Stanek of Elroy, and Brother in law, Chuck Lovelace of Elroy.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Barbara Lovelace.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Elroy with Father Brian Konopa officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Elroy. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home, Elroy on Sunday from 3 – 7 PM and at the church on Monday from 10 AM until 11 AM.
