Mr. Hedrick was born in Champaign on Oct. 4, 1922 to John Hugh Hedrick and Nola Mae Cummings Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick was married to Lois Eloise Sloan on July 10, 1941. She survives.
Also surviving are six children, Jim (Cheryl) Hedrick, Marianne (Tom) Watson, Tom Hedrick, Don Hedrick, Greg (Amy) Hedrick and Julie (Tim) Clifton; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hedrick was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a grandson, Robert Charles Hedrick.
Mr. Hedrick served in World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Hedrick retired from Illini Farm Service in 1984. He served on the Fisher Fair board for many years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fisher and Fisher Amvets.
