Royalty, German and Bohemian queen. She was the only daughter and heiress of Count Palatine Rudolf II and his wife Anna of Carinthia-Görz. She married the thirteen years older Charles IV in March 1349 and was crowned Queen of Germany at Aachen on July 25th 1349. On November 1st of the same year she was crowned Queen of Bohemia and on January 17th, gave birth to her only child, Wenceslas. She died at the age of 23, thirteen months after the death of her son, and was buried beside him.
