Funeral services for Narsisa Abrigo, 83, of Roscoe, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Pastor Everisto Granado officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, lead by Pastor Ollie Wilburn.
Mrs. Abrigo died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
She was born March 16, 1927 in Beeville, Tx. She married Jose Abrigo on Nov. 10, 1945 in Beeville.
She attended the Rhema Valley Church. She was a homemaker and lived in Roscoe and Loraine since 1955 coming from Beeville. She was very active with her grandchildren when they had fundraisers at school or other activities.
Survivors include four sons, Simon Abrigo of Loraine, Ascencio M. Abrigo of Kerrville, Joe Abrigo, Jr. of Roscoe and Felix Abrigo of Roscoe; three daughters, San Juanita Orozco of Roscoe, Herminia Garcia of Roscoe and Mary Lou A. Orozco of Roscoe; two sisters, Martha Espinoza of Roscoe and Elida Calderon of Loraine; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Abrigo on July 15, 2002; a brother, Jose Moreno; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Juan Abrigo, Gabino Abrigo, Michael Abrigo, Joe Eddie Garcia, Jr., Remigio Orozco II and Jason Lee Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Jose Luis Abrigo and Salvador Granado.
