ROBERT ELMER, 39, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
A heart attack Sunday resulted in the unexpected death of Robert B. Elmer, 39, of 2117 Swensberg av., NE, at Butterworth hospital Monday morning.
Elmer, a life resident of Grand Rapids, was a teller at the Creston branch of the Old Kent bank. He operated a restaurant on Michigan st. from 1947-1952. In 1949 he served as president of the Grand Rapids Magicians club and was a member of the Maccabees.
Surviviors are his wife, Florence; a son, Gerald; a daughter, Judith; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Elmer, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence Pater, all of Grand Rapids.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament church. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary cemetery. The body is at the Alt mortuary.
