Retired Carpenter Succumbs at Hospital Here

Benjamin F. Gannaway, 78 years, of 1820 Sixtieth street, died at Kenosha hospital last night following a prolonged illness

He was born in Grand Haven, Mich., on August 28, 1863. He lived in Anderson, Ind., for a few years. Prior to 1926 he resided in various cities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Since 1926 he lived in Kenosha. He was a carpenter by trade, and for the past ten years was retired due to failing health.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. Elsie Allen, Racine; Benjamin Gannaway Jr., Kenosha; Mrs. Louise Johnson, Anchorage, Alaska; Le Roy Gannaway, Oregon; Randall Gannaway, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Lafe Froyer, Milton, Ore.

The body is at the Mischler funeral home where it will remain until the time of funeral services which will be announced Friday.
