Retired Carpenter Succumbs at Hospital Here
Benjamin F. Gannaway, 78 years, of 1820 Sixtieth street, died at Kenosha hospital last night following a prolonged illness
He was born in Grand Haven, Mich., on August 28, 1863. He lived in Anderson, Ind., for a few years. Prior to 1926 he resided in various cities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Since 1926 he lived in Kenosha. He was a carpenter by trade, and for the past ten years was retired due to failing health.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Elsie Allen, Racine; Benjamin Gannaway Jr., Kenosha; Mrs. Louise Johnson, Anchorage, Alaska; Le Roy Gannaway, Oregon; Randall Gannaway, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Lafe Froyer, Milton, Ore.
The body is at the Mischler funeral home where it will remain until the time of funeral services which will be announced Friday.

body of Benjamin F. Gannaway is at the Mischler funeral home where it will remain until 7:30 Saturday morning. Funeral rites will be at 8 o'clock at St. James church with burial in the family plot in James cemetery.
