Louis J. Zuffinetti, 89, of Lockwood, passed away peacefully at George Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
Louis was born December 16, 1921 in Mill Valley and had been a resident of Monterey County since 2001. He was a lifelong contractor, retiring in 1988, after well over 40 years of employment.
He served in the US Navy during WWII from 1942 to 1945. During his military career, he served on the USS Pittsburgh and served tours in both the European and Pacific Theaters.
He is survived by his children; Joyce (Steven) Yates of Lockwood, Donna (Michael) Morris of Bella Vista, James (Pat) Zuffinetti of Napa; brother, Mario (Julie) Zuffinetti of San Diego.
