Mrs. Jean S. Klink Goynes, 1154 S. Albright-McKay Road, Hubbard, died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday , April 14, 1984 in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Youngstown, after an extended illness. She was 53.
Mrs. Goynes was born in Lonaconing, Md., June 16, 1930, to Roland and Grace Elliott Staup.
Before retiring in November 1983, she had been employed 30 years at Packard Electric Division, General Motors Corp., Warren, where she worked in the quality control department.
She was a member of Church of Redeemer, Hermitage.
Surviving besides her husband, whom she married 18 years ago, are a daughter, Wilma Johnson, Hermitage; a stepson, Terry Goynes, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Debbie) Champion, both of Lake Milton, Ohio, two brothers, the Rev. Thomas Staup, Brunswick, Md., and Robert Staup, West Middlesex; two sisters, Mrs. Herman(Gretchen) Bobo and Mrs. Robert (Martha Ann) Miller, both of Lonaconing, and nine grandchildren.

Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Church of Redeemer, Hermitage, with the Rev. Thomas Staup, her brother and pastor of Grace-Episcopal Church, Brunswick, MD., officiating.
Burial: in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
