William W. Chambers, Jr., Of Pomfret, Maryland and Pompano Beach, Florida, entered eternal rest on May 16, 2003. He was the owner and operator of W. W. Chambers Co., dba Chambers Funeral Home in Silver Spring, Maryland; Riverdale, Maryland; and Washington, DC. Chambers Funeral Home is currently operated by Thomas S. Chambers and W. W. Chambers, III.


Husband of Edna M. Chambers. Also survived by eight children, 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Visitation at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Cleveland Ave., Riverdale, MD on Sunday, May 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass at St. Bernardine's Catholic Church, 2400 Brooks Dr., Suitland, MD on Monday, at 10 a.m.


Entombment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
