Carl Lee Farmer, 81, Finley, died Thursday, April 9, 1992, at the Springview Hospital in Lebanon after an illness. He was the son of the late Jim Farmer and Annie Benningfield Farmer and a retired carpenter and farmer. He was married to Mary Oda Thompson on July 6, 1928. He was preceded in death by his wife April 10, 1988. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Thelma Lee Farmer. Farmer is survived by one son and two daughters, C. W. Farmer, Finley, Janet Moore, Lebanon, and Anna Ruth Steinbrecher, Louisville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Farmer, Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at the Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Victor Stansbury and the Rev. Earl Pike officiated.
