MARTHA L. RANKIN MOLDOVAN
'67 Hickory grad cleaned houses, liked needlepoint.

MARTHA L MOLDOVAN, 475 Colonial Court, Sharpsville, formerly of March Street, Sharon, passed away at 2:16 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in her home after an extended illness. She was 59.

Mrs. Moldovan was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Sharon to Harry and Irene Casedy Rankin. She graduated in 1967 from Hickory High School, Hermitage.

Martha cleaned houses and worked in the janitorial department of Tully's in Sharon; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5286 Farrell. She attended IHS Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1338, Sharon. A homemaker, Martha enjoyed needlepoint and most of all, love spending time with her grandson.

Surviving are: her parents, San Antonio, Texas; her daughter, Tracey Parrish and her husband Gordon, Mercer; three sisters, Judith Nichols and her husband Charles, Marietta, Ohio; Delinda McCarrier, San Antonio; and Donna Thompson and her husband Keith, Hermitage; three brothers, Martha's twin, Martin Rankin, and his companion Wilma Johnson, Hermitage; Gary Rankin, DuBois, Pa., and Paul Rankin, San Antonio; her grandson, Jordon Parrish; and her very best friends, Dan Elavasky, Sharon; and Beverly LaCamera, Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (2-13-08) and 10 a.m. to time service Thursday (2-14-08) in JOHN FLYNN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY Inc., 2630 E. State St., Hermitage. Friends may send condolences by e-mail to [email protected].

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Eckles, pastor of IHS Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, officiating.
