RANKIN, HARRY R. -- Age 81 years of R.D. 2 Uniontown, Pa., (Little Brownfield) died in Preston County, W. Va., near Albright, W. Va. He was born in Elliotsville, Pa. and was the son of the late John William and Phoebe Ann Maust Rankin.

Surviving are his wife Henrietta Ringer Rankin. R.D.2, Uniontown; five sons, Harry Rankin Jr., Dubois, Pa., Robert, Washington, Pa., Donald and Ronald, both of Uniontown, James at home; seven daughters, Mrs Delmar (Irene) Crupe, and Mrs. Willey (Ann) Phillips, both of Washington, Pa., Mrs. Thomas (Gladys) Bush, Uniontown, Mrs. David (Jane) Williams, Claysville, Pa., Mrs. Gifford (Geraldine) Fisher, Fairchance, Mrs. William (Freda) Ritz, Hopwood, Mrs. Larry (Dottie) Campbell, Fairchance. Thirty-nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, Fairchance and the UMWA District 4. He was a retired coal miner. Friends are being received in the Wagner-Cooley Funeral Home, Fairchance, today until 1 p.m. the hour of service. Rev. Richard Price will officiate. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Brownfield.
