Allen Wayne Richardson 54, went to be with the Lord on 11/7/2014. Born in Port Hueneme, Ca and lived in Ventura , CA until he moved to Bakersfield in 1988, to be closer to his family. Allen was a long time member of the Bakersfield First Church of the Nazarene and played bass guitar in a worship band at the Bakersfield Rescue Mission.
Allen is survived by his parents Tom & Joan Richardson, son Torrey and daughter-in-law Kendra Richardson, grandson Benjamin, brothers Robert (Charlotte) Richardson of San Joaquin, CA, Kenneth Richardson of Bakersfield, CA, sister Wendy (Scott) Stevens of Bakersfield, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bakersfield First Church of the Nazarene, Friday November 21st at 10 am. Reception to follow.
Allen will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
