Took off 1837 24 Mar 1944 from RAF Witchford for an operation to Berlin, Germany. Shot down by Oberleutnant Hptm Martin Drewes of the Stab 111/NJG 1; who had taken off from Twente airfield at 22:50 Hours, in a Bf 110 G-4. Luftwaffe night-fighter ace, he survived the war and emigrated to Brazil where he married a Brazilian woman, he died in 2013. The aircraft crashed 00.20 on 25th March 1944 at Epse in Gelderland, 4 km SSE of Deventer. All of the crew of the LL694 were buried on March 27 in Gorssel General Cemetery.
