Mr. Frank Dewitt Abercrombie, age 70 of Jacksonville, FL passed away October 28, 2014. He was born June 24, 1944 in Douglas, GA, the son of Ernest Abercrombie and Christine Ledford Abercrombie. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cynthia Abercrombie; his daughter Sylvia Abercrombie and her fiance Scott; his son Brian Abercrombie and his fiance Amanda; his grandson Kayden Abercrombie; and many other loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday November 7, 2014 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park with Pastor Rick Shabi of World United Church of God officiating.
Immediately following, family members and friends will reconvene at Riverside Memorial Park for committal services and Navy honors. Family members will greet guest on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
