Walter was the son of John Gall and Alexandra Papierz. He was baptized on June 1, 1924 at St. Adalbert Church in Chicago, IL. Sylvester Ozmina and Anna Hajost were his godparents. He married Virginia Marcichow on Jan 16, 1949 at Sacred Heart Church on Honore St. in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Gall was born May 21, 1924 in Chicago. He was a plant superintendent for the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind. Mr. Gall served in the Army during WWII. He achieved fourth degree status of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3731. Mr. Gall was also a member of the Elk's Club No. 1526 and the American Legion Post No. 166.

Mr. Gall is survived by Virginia, his wife of 56 years; brother Stanley; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Jan. 12 at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 13 at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Niles. Interment was in St. Adalbert Mausoleum, Niles.
