She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence G. Fobes, in 2004, whom she met in the late 40's while working at Ft. Monmouth; and a sister, Zelda Wyatt. Surviving are a daughter, Sherry Mitchell & husband Steven Jurewicz of Belle Mead. Also surviving are several relatives in North Carolina.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. Friday, April 13 until the funeral services at 11 a.m. from Posten's Funeral Home, 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central Ave., Atlantic Highlands. Interment in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
